The last time, Chandrababu was the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, he bought a pretty significant investment to the state in the form of Kia, which set up a manufacturing unit in Anantapur.

However, despite the mega investment of the automobile manufacturer in Anantapur, Chandrababu could not retain power as he lost the election by a huge margin. So q concerned Chandrababu, who is currently the chief minister again is leaving no stones unturned this time.

The latest news is that Chandrababu is reportedly materialising a mega investment plan of bringing Apple manufacturing hub to Kuppam. Reportedly, this project could be happening in the near future and could be executed by the end of this tenure itself.

Hindalco’s ₹586 crore investment in an aluminium extrusion facility in Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh, marks a strategic move to supply iPhone chassis, leveraging the region's proximity to Bengaluru and Chennai, where Foxconn operates.

The project, set for approval on August 28, 2025, by the State Investment Promotion Board, is expected to create 613 jobs by March 2027, tapping into the Andhra Pradesh Electronics Component Manufacturing Policy 2025-30, which offers incentives, challenging the narrative that rural areas lag in high-tech industries.

Considering the fact that Kuppam is the home constituency for Chandrababu, if he can materialise this project in his home ground, then there is absolutely no stopping him.
