The hearing of the bail petition filed by TDP chief, former CM Chandrababu Naidu was adjourned. It is known that he is placed at the Rajahmundry Central Jail as a remand prisoner. The AP CID filed a case against him saying that there was a scam of Rs 371 crores on the AP Skill Development Corporation. He was arrested and sent to remand.

Chandrababu Naidu already approached the court seeking bail in the case. However, earlier in the petition, he sought directives to consider his issue as deemed custody. But the Court said that the custody cannot be looked at as deemed custody and dismissed the petition. With this, he filed another petition.

Chandrababu Naidu's petition came up for the petition on Thursday. However, the CID did not file a counter. With this, the High Court granted five days to the CID to file the counter and adjourned the hearing to the 17th of this month. So he has to stay in prison till the 17th of this month with this.

Chandrababu Naidu moved the High Court seeking bail in the Skill Development scam after the ACB Court dismissed the petition. He sought interim bail in the case. Lawyers representing Chandrababu sought interim bail till the inquiry on the main petition was finished.

However, the TDP boss did not get relief as the hearing was adjourned. With the CID not filing a counter, the next hearing was adjourned to the 17th, and the investigating agency was asked to file a counter.

On the other hand, all eyes are on the 13th which is tomorrow to see what the Supreme Court will say. The quash petition filed by Chandrababu lawyers has been getting adjourned due to various reasons. A few times the hearing was adjourned and now we have to wait and see what the Apex Court will say tomorrow.
