CBN's Election Affidavit: Sharp Rise In Assets Compared To 2019!

It's the nomination time for the leaders. In the wake of the upcoming elections, leaders are filing the nominations and announcing details of their assets, worth and other things. These applications are getting all the attention. The likes of Nara Lokesh and Nandamuri Balakrishna filed the nomination.

Now it's the turn of TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu to file the nomination. On his behalf, his wife Nara Bhuvaneswari filed the nomination in Kuppam. Looking at the details mentioned in the affidavit, there is a sharp rise in the assets.

It is said that the wife and husband have assets worth Rs 931 crore. Compared to the last elections, there is a jump of 39 percent. In the affidavit filed in 2019, the former Chief Minister mentioned assets worth Rs 668 cr.

Looking at the valuables Bhuvaneswari holds, they are said to account for around Rs 3 crore including diamonds, Gold, and Silver. On the other hand, Chandrababu Naidu has assets and immovable assets worth small amounts individually.

As per the affidavit, the TDP boss holds movable assets worth Rs 4.80 lakh and immovable assets worth Rs 36.31 lakh. The joint liabilities are above Rs 10 crore.

On the other hand, Chandrababu Naidu also has cases against him. The affidavit says that he has 24 FIRs. It is known that he is accused in a few scams that are said to have happened in the previous term. In one case he was sent to jail too.
