Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu is a man of vision and everyone knows that. Everyone is seeing the potential of the IT HUB in Hyderabad now which took shape when he was the CM of the combined state. Chandrababu Naidu managed to bring Bill Gates to Hyderabad which paved the way for Microsoft Office.
Chandrababu Naidu aka CBN is a good administrator too. We have seen this many times with the decisions he took. Yet again the administrator in CBN showed his mark with the transfer of IAS officers.
After he took charge as the Chief Minister, he chaired a meeting with IAS and IPS officers. During the meeting, he expressed his dissatisfaction with some officers which raised many eyeballs. Cut to a few days Chandrababu Naidu swung into action.
Controversial IAS officer Srilakshmi, Special CS Rajat Bhargava, Education Chief Secretary Praveen Prakash, and APMSIDC MD D. Muralidhar Reddy were among the IAS officers who were transferred. The four were directed to report to the General Administration Department(GAD).
Everyone knows what happened with senior IAS officer Y. Srilakshmi. She was arrested and sent to jail in connection with the alleged misuse of office. Despite this, she was brought to Andhra Pradesh. When the IAS officer went to meet CBN he refused to take the bouquet from her.
Now the Chief Minister ordered a big bureaucratic reshuffle with 19 officers getting transferred. New officials are likely to take charge soon.
The transfer of the IAS caught everyone’s attention including the national media as some of them have the image of being close to the previous government. Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha earlier warned Police officials for their alleged YCP stand. Now the IAS officers have been transferred.
