Chandrababu’s Magic: He Tricks the Kapus!
The alliance politics it is doing gives the same impression.
The Kapu community in AP is in a position where it can be a deciding factor. But it feels that TDP wants the votes but it would not give seats. The alliance politics it is doing gives the same impression. As expected the Kapus were allocated just two dozen seats. However, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is saying that the alliance is to defeat Jagan.
Everything is looking fine. By defeating Jagan they will get power. But we should also see who gets the power, say the Kapu leaders and sympathisers. The Kapu community has strength in 75 to 80 seats including the two Godavari districts. They can be a deciding factor there. When this is the reality they did not even get 1/4th of seats.
When the TDP is contesting in most seats how Kapus would get a share in the power is the question many have. A section of people ask if supporting Chandrababu was the reason behind the alliance. Chandrababu is not new to politics and CM. He served thrice as CM.
The Kapu supporters ask why not work for the long-standing demand of Kapus by giving more seats to them this time. They feel that this is their best chance to become the Chief Minister. For the first time, TDP is looking very weak. How should we see it when TDP which is very weak, wants to allot fewer seats to Janasena and who would benefit from this say many.
They even ask what is the use of entering the Assembly as a small party by contesting in fewer seats the TDP allotted. Pawan Kalyan has been saying that a respectable number of seats should be allotted in the alliance. Are these 24 seats a respectable number is the question the Kapu leaders have. Many say that this could have been a golden chance for Janasena had it made the right move.
Everyone knows that it would be a big loss for TDP more than Janasena if they lose the elections. Having understood the situation the TDP came for the alliance. But is Janasena benefiting from this is the main question. Even if Janasena accepts the offer, will the Kapus say yes is another question.
Senior Kapu leader Chegondi Harirama Jogaiah has been saying the same for a long time. He is batting for the demand of Kapus to get an adequate share of seats. If not for this the vote transfer would not happen is what he is saying. Is it easy to pledge the self-respect of Kapus and get political advantage from it is the question many have.
