Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu had a busy time in the national party Delhi meeting the bigwigs in the BJP. He wants the BJP to be a part of the TDP and Jana Sena alliance as happened in 2014. Ahead of the elections, the alliance received a lot of clarity.

The three parties decided to go to the elections together. After the alliance, Chandrababu Naidu is said to have held a meeting with the senior party leaders. After the alliance was formed the meeting was held.

The reports say that the meeting was held to explain the need for an alliance to the party leaders. For the past few days, Chandrababu Naidu has been busy meeting the big leaders.

Parties forming alliances is not an easy task as they have to make a few sacrifices be it allotting the seats or working together.

In the process, a few leaders would have to make the sacrifice and the angry leaders might become rebels. This is a nightmare for any party.

The TDP doesn’t want to see this happen and for this, Chandrababu Naidu held a meeting with the seniors. During the meeting, Chandrababu Naidu explained to leaders about the need for the alliance saying that the Centre’s help is needed for the state's growth.

Having said that, he urged the leaders to not feel bad if they miss the tickets and put the responsibility on seniors to explain this to other leaders.

Earlier when the first candidates list was announced, it was reported that a few leaders were not happy as they missed the tickets. In a few seats both TDP and Janasena candidates were adamant about the seats making it tough for the alliances to announce candidates. Understanding this, Chandrababu is said to have chaired the meeting via teleconference.
