CM Jagan Taunts Pawan Kalyan Citing Barrelakka’s Example
Though she lost the elections, Sirisha won many hearts for putting in serious efforts and getting a good response.
The 2023 Telangana elections was a tough fight between the Titans. A few heavyweights fought the elections. Out of the heavyweights, a 23-year-old woman who is a buffalo herder became the talk of the town by contesting the elections as the independent candidate.
Sirisha aka Barrelakka who is a graduate contested the elections as an independent candidate from Kollapur Constituency. Though she lost the elections, Sirisha won many hearts for putting in serious efforts and getting a good response.
Now Barrelakka became a weapon for Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to target Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan. Jagan drew a comparison between the election performance of Pawan Kalyan and Barrelakka.
Jagan said that Pawan Kalyan made big claims of showing stars to Andhra leaders in Telangana and these dialogues did not fetch votes to him. Pawan Kalyan’s party did not get the votes that Barrelakka got in the elections. The Party did not even get deposits in the elections, he said.
The Chief Minister went on to say that Datta Putrudu made big claims of showing stars to Andhra leaders when campaigning in Telangana. But his party could not even get the votes that Barrelakka got. My Sister Barrelakka is better than Pawan Kalyan, he said.
The YSRCP leaders including YS Jagan Mohan Reddy often taunt Pawan Kalyan that he could not win the elections despite contesting in two seats and his party lost the elections capley by winning just one seat.
Giving another chance for opponents, Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena which contested eight seats lost all of them in Telangana. Fans felt that the parry might open the account in the Telangana elections. But the reality was different.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy made these comments after inaugurating the newly built 200-bed Dr. YSR Kidney Research and Super Speciality Hospital and YSR Sujaladhara Project to help the people in the Uddanam region fighting Kidney disease.
