The current political conditions are such that leaders who have good ties with other party leaders might not get the tickets. A similar issue became viral in Andhra Pradesh. In this backdrop, a leader made political donations to a rival party and people are unable to understand the logic behind this.

It is known that CM Ramesh who was with TDP till the 2019 elections shifted his loyalties to the BJP later. His company purchased electoral bonds to make donations. What's shocking is that BJP did not get a single penny from this. But the rival party Congress received a major share of donations. This became a hot topic. The sensational aspect is that the major share of donations were made recently.

This led to a lot of questions and speculations. CM Ramesh has the image of a close associate to TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu. He is with the BJP. Despite this, he made contributions to the BJP. What the YCP supporters doubt is that there might be a big reason and this might be a part of Chandrababu's political tactics. They say that yet again the issue proves the ties between TDP and Congress.

Going into details Rithwik Projects Private Limited founded by BJP Rajya Sabha member CM Ramesh(R.R.P.L) gathered electoral bonds worth Rs 45 crores. He did not even contribute anything to the party he is representing. But he gave Rs 30 crores as a donation to the Congress party between 2023 January and April during the Karnataka elections.

This made many doubt whether CM Ramesh helped Congress defeat the BJP in Karnataka and wants to come to power with the help of the same BJP. The party supporters say that this might be Chandrababu mark politics. For support at the Centre he allied with BJP, for Kapu votes he aligned with Janasena and to trouble Jagan he is walking with Congress led by YS Sharmila. They say that Chandrababu has official and unofficial alliances in the state.

A sitting MP from the saffron party gathering funds for the Congress party became the talk of the town. Looking at the other donations, the regional Karnataka party Janata Dal (Secular) received Rs 10 crores and the Telugu Desam Party received Rs 5 crores. The YCP supporters are joining various dots like CM Ramesh donating money to Congress during elections, YS Sharmila’s party merging into Congress, and others.

The YCP supporters say that Chandrababu might have made CM Ramesh donate the money to keep Congress silent in splitting the anti-government votes. Keeping aside the debate on who acted on whose directions, a BJP leader donating money to Congress created a sensation. Now we have to wait and see what happens next.

The numbers of electoral bonds which CM Ramesh donated to Congress are as follows. The worth of each bond is Rs 1 crore. 30 bonds were handed which values Rs 30 crores in total.
