Covishield Fears: Sensational Petition Filed In Supreme Court!

There is no doubt in saying that the Covid pandemic is the biggest disaster we have faced collectively as the world in recent times. Everything came to a standstill with this around us and we are restricted to houses as a safety measure. Vaccines came to our rescue with everyone taking the shots and we have managed to control the virus spread.

Now a sensational thing has come out that says that those who took Covishield vaccines would have side effects. The manufacturers of the vaccines are said to have accepted the same before the Court in the United Kingdom.

This issue raised many concerns in India as Covishield was one of the vaccines that were administered to the people. Many wonder how the vaccine was accepted for the administration.

Amid fears around the vaccines, a sensational petition was filed with the Supreme Court seeking a damage payment system for those who have taken the vaccine shots. A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) was filed with the Country’s top court by a lawyer.

As per the news covered by India Today,the PIL sought directives from the top court to set up a medical experts’ panel to look into the side effects of taking the vaccine. Besides this, the PIL also said that a damage system payment should be implemented for those who have passed away and who have become disabled.

The Media House also said that the petitioner said that strict guidelines should be brought to see that fake COVID-19 vaccines are not distributed and a special committee should be set up which would be headed by a retired Supreme Court judge.

It is said that those who took the vaccine shots are in danger of developing heart attacks, facing blood clots and low platelet levels. Amid this, a petition was filed with the Supreme Court.
