Bharatiya Janata Party has an unusual relationship with taking big decisions. Whenever there are elections we hear reports that the party might go for a sensational decision. This becomes almost common for the elections. The same is happening for the upcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh.

Ahead of the AP elections, sensational news has been doing rounds that say that Muslim reservations might be scrapped if the alliance comes to power in Andhra Pradesh. The news grabbed everyone’s attention as there is not much time for the elections.

This prompted a response from AP chief Daggubati Purandeswari. She said that there is no truth in the reports and no one needs to be worried. The former Minister said that the BJP always thinks about Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas.

Calling the reports that are doing rounds an attempt to hinder the party’s image, Daggubati Purandeswari said that the reports are wrong and urged the Community to not fall into such traps.

Such issues can have a big impact on the elections. Ap will go to elections soon and the opposition parties-BJP, TDP, and Janasena joined hands for the alliance. BJP has no strong ground in the state and it wants to enter the AP this time.Amid this, the reports started doing rounds. Before it was too late, Daggubati Purandeswari stepped in and clarified the news.

It has to be mentioned here that the previous Basavaraj Bommai government in Karnataka did a similar thing. It had scrapped the 5 percent reservations for Muslims and implemented the reservations among two OBC groups. This became a sensation back then as the decision came ahead of the Assembly polls.
