Did Etela Remain Alone In The BJP?
But it was later given to Chennamaneni Vikas and many say that this is the example to prove this.
Is Etela Rajender who left BRS for BJP due to issues with KCR and won the by-polls becoming single in the party? Well, the political circles say yes to this. Many say that Etela who was supposed to be a key leader is lacking importance in the party. BJP first allocated the Vemulawada seat to Tula Uma. But it was later given to Chennamaneni Vikas and many say that this is the example to prove this.
When Etela Rajender came out of BRS, Tula Uma also followed him and joined the BJP along with him. Etela promised that she would get the Vemulawada seat. On the other hand, former Governor Chennamaneni Vidyasagar Rao’s son Vikas Rao who joined the BJP eyed the seat. Etela spoke to the leadership and made sure that Tula Uma got the ticket. With this, many said that Etela kept his word.
On the last date of the nominations, BJP gave the B-form to Vikas Rao instead of Tula Uma. Vikas Rao is fielded as the candidate from the Vemulawada seat. It is said that Vikas Rao was given a ticket with the backing of Telangana BJP Chief Kishan Reddy. Political observers say that this proves Etela’s words have no importance in the party. Enugu Ravinder Reddy who joined the BJP from BRS along with Etela left the party for Congress alleging a lack of importance. He is contesting the Banswada Assembly constituency. As his aides are leaving the party one after the other, many say that Etela is left alone.
