Known for his candidness, director Teja talked about the importance of voting today during elections. He stated that those who neglect their responsibility to vote can be considered as 'Desa Drohulu' or traitors. He pointed out that while individuals often complain about various civic issues like poor roads, inadequate schooling, and water problems in their areas, they often neglect the fundamental duty of casting their votes.

Expressing concern over the low voter turnout in Jubilee Hills, Teja urged everyone physically capable to participate in the electoral process. He underlined the civic duty of voting, especially in areas with historically low polling percentages like Jubilee Hills.

Teja's outspoken nature reflected his belief that abstaining from voting when one has the ability to do so amounts to betraying one's country. His comments come at a time when Hyderabad recorded a meager 13% voter turnout by noon during the ongoing elections.

The director's impassioned plea encourages citizens to realize their responsibility towards shaping the future of their region by actively participating in the democratic process through voting.
