United States president, Donald Trump has been making it a habit to deliver brutal shocks to the immigration population and he is back on the job now. The latest decision taken by Trump is going to be extremely detrimental for the international immigration community.
Trump has signed, not just one but two executive orders that are going to largely affect the international immigration population in the USA.
According to the latest developments, Trump has signed to executive orders that would ban birth tourism, and also the abuse of citizenship aspects.
The first order identifies certain categories of children of aliens who are not entitled to birthright citizenship consistent with historical exceptions recognized by the Supreme Court in Trump v. Barbara.
The second order gives presidential authorities to the Secretary of State and Secretary of Homeland Security allowing them to halt birth tourism.
This order from Trump comes shortly after the court had ruled that Trump does not have the legal authority to stop the birthdate citizenship amendment. But that did not stop Trump from taking this decision again against the court.
It has to be seen what would be the consequence for this at the court of law as this court potentially be considered as the contempt of the court.
This would essentially mean that the parents who give birth to their children in the United States will not automatically grant US citizenship to their children. This was the mindset of Trump right from the first day, and he is acting on it now.
