US President Trump Wants Thousands Of Crores From Indians!

United States, president, Donald Trump is one of the most controversial and unpredictable personalities in global politics as his policy making has been a point of concern for every immigrant.

The United States president has executed a new order regarding the famous H1B policy in the United States and this is going to directly affect Indian population.

US Department of Homeland Security has proposed a new $103,265 fee for all H-1B cap-subject petitions, including those for advanced degree holders.

According to DHS, the fee would be paid at the time of filing, in addition to existing applicable fees. This does not apply for the existing H1B Visa holders, but for the new applicants.

To put that into perspective every new applicant of the H1B visa from the immigration community, particularly the majority being Indians will have to pay around ₹95 lakh. This is going to be a pretty significant financial challenge to everyone involved and could have strong consequences as well.

The proposal is estimated to generate around $8.8 billion annually based on 85,000 projected H-1B cap-subject petitions. It would not apply to H-1B petitions exempt from the cap.

This would essentially mean that the United States president is looking to make thousands of crores by imposing this new fee structure for H1B visa, which would largely affect the Indian community.
