The President of United States, Donald Trump is reported the contemplating a visit to India in the early half of 2027, and this was confirmed by representative of administration. This news was categorically confirmed by Rubio, who is a crucial member of the Donald Trump government.
On that matter, U.S. Ambassador to India Sergio Gor has sought to reassure Indians over the Trump administration’s immigration measures, saying changes to the U.S. visa system are not targeted at India.
He is insisting that people-to-people ties, trade and defence cooperation between the two countries will continue to grow under the leadership of Trump and Modi.
Adding further in this context, Rubio said that President Donald Trump is likely to visit India early next year, saying the strong personal rapport between Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In less than six months from now, we could be witnessing the arrival of Donald Trump in India, but we have to patiently wait and see if this would be any significant reward to the Indian economy.
The point to be noted here is that Trump had been going particularly hard against the international immigration population in the US by enforcing stricter regulations. It has to be seen if his arrival in India would be more beneficial to the Indian community in the United States at least from now.
