Global Tech billionaire Elon Musk has been doing everything in his power to enhance the usage of X, formerly Twitter. He is now doing something financially, compensating in order to entice the audience to use Twitter at an aggravated basis.

According to a report carried by Way2News, tech billionaire Elon Musk has announced a high profile writing challenge on X, formerly known as Twitter. The competition offers a massive reward of nearly one million dollars, roughly equivalent to nine crore rupees, for the best long form article published on the platform.

The contest is aimed at promoting high quality written content on X. Participants are required to submit an original article with a minimum length of one thousand words. A key condition attached to the challenge is that the content must be entirely human written. The use of artificial intelligence tools for writing is strictly prohibited, as per the announcement.

The competition is time bound and will be open only until January 28. Another important restriction is eligibility. The challenge is currently limited to premium subscribers based in the United States, meaning it is not open to international users at this stage.

Elon Musk’s move is being seen as an effort to revive long form journalism and serious writing on social media, at a time when short posts and quick engagement dominate most platforms. The announcement has already sparked wide discussion among writers and content creators online.
