Big Row Over EVMs: Even Elon Musk Gives His Thoughts!

At a time when ruling and opposition parties are locking horns with each other on the EVM allegations.

Elections and electronic voting machines (EVM)s go hand in hand. Everytime the elections are held we hear allegations of tempering. The 2024 Elections are no different in this. The political leaders are adding fuel to the big issue. Even big names are giving their thoughts.

At a time when ruling and opposition parties are locking horns with each other on the EVM allegations, Tesla Boss Elon Musk made an unexpected entry. Elon Musk said that we should eliminate the e; electronic voting machines as there is a risk of hacking.

Adding fuel to this, former IT Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar gave a strong reaction saying that hacking EVM is not possible and called Elon Musk factually wrong. Saying that he has a slight understanding of technology the former Minister said that people are saying Tesla cars might be hacked as well.

Elon Musk has been talking about doing away with the EVMs ever since there were allegations of possible irregularities in the Primary elections. Since then he has been actively talking about the EVMs and doing away with them.

As the ruling and opposition parties have been actively tweeting on the issue Elon Musk is reacting to the tweets and giving his thoughts on this. His responses are adding more fuel to the burning issue.

On the other hand, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde dared Rahul Gandhi to resign as he is actively raising doubts on EVMs as he won in two seats with a big majority.

Sam Pitroda said that there is a chance of manipulation in the EVM system. The BJP said that there is no question of hacking or manipulation in the EVMs.
