Fake Surveys Trend Has Started In AP Already?

After the elections were concluded we have seen how the surveys became the talk of the town.

We are done with the Telangana elections and we have got a clear winner. Putting an end to the long wait the results were released and the Congress party is all set to form the government. As the party came to power after a long gap of 10 years the political landscape in the state changed.

After the elections were concluded we have seen how the surveys became the talk of the town. It is said that the parties in the state spend a big amount on the surveys. The surveys predicting different outcomes can be cited as an example of this. Spending on these surveys became a big burden for the parties.

Now it is said that it is the turn of Andhra Pradesh to see such a trend. Both YCP and TDP are reportedly conducting fake surveys with the help of fake addresses and the surveys are released on social media. The intention of doing these surveys is to reach the public to shape their opinion.

Social media is very powerful in Andhra Pradesh and the opinion that is sent into it can have a big impact. This was proven many times. Seeing this both parties are said to be in plans to conduct the surveys and release them on social media.

While the YCP wants to win the 2024 elections and score a second consecutive win, the TDP wants to bounce back and come to power. It recorded a humiliating result in the 2019 elections and it is dubbed as the worst performance since the party’s inception.

The ruling YCP is banking heavily on the welfare schemes and it is openly saying that the party is balancing both welfare and development. From Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to MLAs everyone is saying that welfare schemes would make the people vote for them.

On the other hand, the opposition TDP is saying that there is no development in the state and once the party comes to power it will focus on development and lend a helping hand to the unemployed people.

Rather than highlighting the same and telling the voters what they would do, the ruling and opposition parties are said to be focusing on creating fake surveys and releasing them on social media. Both parties have a dedicated team of strategists who are working for their respective clients.

We have seen similar things before the 2019 polls. While the YCP sent surveys to social media that people are with Jagan and there is a Jagan wave in the state, the same happened with the Telugu Desam Party as the party said the development it did would get votes. We might see a similar trend in the state.
