Spine-Chilling Video: Flight’s Canopy Opened Mid-Air!

Flight developing technical issues or troubles mid-air is the last thing one wants to experience. No words can describe the experience one faces in such a situation. But a pilot had a spine-chilling experience with the aircraft’s canopy getting opened. The pilot could not even hear what the coach said in the mic.

Narine Melkumjan, a pilot from the Netherlands is the one who faced the horrific situation. However, the incident is not the latest one it happened a couple of years back. No matter what the video can give chills to anyone as the pilot could not even take a breath properly.

The pilot took off in an aircraft as part of her aerobatic training flight. While there were no issues initially the aircraft’s canopy suddenly opened. With no support, she could not breathe properly. Sharing the clip she recalled what had happened.

She said that the canopy opened suddenly. Due to the inflow of air, she could not see initially. The wind flow was so powerful that she could not even hear what the pilot said in the mic to help her have a safe landing.

However, she kept her nerves and had a safe landing. The pilot said she too made some mistakes like not checking the condition of the aircraft and not wearing glasses for eye protection. Furthermore, the pilot said that she did not give enough time for her body to recover from the Covid condition.

The reason behind sharing the horrific clip is that the pilot wants to serve a warning to other pilots to be safe and follow precautions while taking off. Her video took the social media by storm now.
