Meet the AP MLA Who Hired A Transgender As PA!

Generally, transgender are regarded as the taboo aspect of the society, and they are not provided with adequate job opportunities. This is one of the primary reasons why they operate on their own and often charge with antisocial activities.

However, the sitting MLA in Andhra Pradesh has performed something interesting with regard to the employment opportunity for transgender community, and it has grabbed the attention now.

Incidentally, TDP MLA Galla Madhavi, who is one of the fire brand leaders in Andhra Pradesh has reportedly hired a transgender lady as her personal assistant.

This is a positive effort from the MLA to show her respect towards transgender community as the fact that hiring a transgender woman as a personal assistant had not happened in Telugu politics till now.

This matter has reached IT Minister Lokesh, who expressed his satisfaction on this matter and appreciated the MLA for doing something like this. He even pointed out that the female MLA deserves a salute for doing something like this.

Even the social media has been responding, very kindly to this latest gesture from the TDP MLA from the Guntur region as this would positively impact the transgender community which is marginalised in the society.
