Good News:65 Lakh Pension Beneficiaries To Get Rs 7000!
In what could be good news for the beneficiaries, as many as 65 lakh people would get Rs 7000 on the 1st of July.
The alliance came to power in Andhra Pradesh after a historic win. While many factors played a role in this, the impact of schemes announced cannot be ruled out. TDP was aggressive in the schemes and announced six guarantees including increasing the pension amount for beneficiaries.
In what could be good news for the beneficiaries, as many as 65 lakh people would get Rs 7000 on the 1st of July. From the 1st of August, they would get Rs 4000 every month, an increase of one thousand from the old amount.
The Cabinet met for a key meeting earlier today led by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. During the meeting, the Cabinet gave its nod for enhancing the pension amount to the beneficiaries. On the first of next month, the beneficiaries will be given the amount.
Beneficiaries of different schemes who were getting Rs 3000 would get Rs 4000 from now on. The remaining three thousand they would get is the arrears for three months. Earlier the party said the arrears of three months would be cleared.
In total the amount goes up to Rs 7000 which they will get on July 1st. The Cabinet gave its nod to this bill giving good news for the beneficiaries. Experts say that benefiting the 65 lakh beneficiaries would put a big burden on the economy.
Earlier today the Cabinet approved schemes including Mega DSC of 16,347 jobs, Canceling Land Titling Acts, Increasing Pension amount to Rs 4,000 from Rs 3,000, Reviving Anna Canteens, Skill Census, and restoring the name of NTR Health University.
During the campaign, TDP was criticized saying that it cannot implement the schemes. But TDP proved the criticism wrong as the cabinet approved the files giving a big relief to the beneficiaries.
