YCP, which was in power in the previous term, faced a lot of criticism with the liquor policy. The party came to power saying that it would ban liquor. While it was not implemented, new brands were released like Boom Boom, Special Status, and others. Branded liquor was reportedly banned as per the liquor lovers.

It looks like the good time for liquor lovers started in Andhra Pradesh with the change in power. Non-branded liquor would be stopped with branded company stock reaching the stores. A popular beer brand is making a re-entry to the state.

Kingfisher is a popular brand among liquor lovers. King returned to the state in big containers. TDP leader Anam Venkata Ramana Reddy shared the video saying that Kingfisher is back in the state. “It's back all over AP.king the fisher cheer,” he said.

The tweet is getting all the attention from users who are saying they need not drink the unbranded brands like earlier and they can get the brands from now on. This is true and this can be seen as good news to liquor lovers.

Earlier Chandrababu Naidu promised to bring the brands to the state during the campaign. He said that the popular brands will be brought. He also assured digital payments at the stalls so that they can keep track of the sales.

With the change in power, it is said that online payments are slowly starting with the shops setting up the QR codes. Shops are displaying boards saying that digital payments would be allowed.
