According to the latest reports, 57-year-old Sheetal Wrzesien, a senior engineering leader at Google, was found with gunshot wounds inside the couple's home after police responded to reports of a domestic dispute.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. The couple's son was also found outside the residence with gunshot wounds and was rushed to hospital. Officials have not disclosed his current medical condition.
Police arrested 56-year-old Kirk Wrzesien at the scene. He has been charged with murder, two counts of aggravated assault, and two counts of illegally possessing a firearm while committing a crime, and is being held without bond.
Investigators say the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute, though the exact motive remains under investigation.
