The H1B visa has been one of the most decide documentation for the Indian population in the United States as this grants the work permit to stay in the country and work there. But things are not looking promising for this section of the public now.

The United States administration under the leadership of Donald Trump has been very particular about the H1B policy as they are not preferring to have the Indian population stay there.

This has resulted in every problematic situation as the latest developments are suggesting that vice president JD Vance is contemplating a complete ban on the H1B visa at large.

Apparently, the United States vice president is forming a team that would be completely monitoring the development regarding the H1B Visa. The core purpose of this team is to create the legal framework and required documentation to completely eradicate the H1B Visa policy.

If this comes to implementation, then the United States could be completely removing the H1B visa altogether, which would severely affect the Indian working population.

Vance said tech firms, accounting firms and other employers have exploited the program. He gave a hypothetical example of a $60,000 American accountant replaced by a $45,000 foreign worker, calling it a betrayal of American workers rather than a way to hire genuine talent.

Defending the administration's $100,000 H-1B fee, he said it followed discussions among himself, and President Trump. This is a strong indication that even the vice president is completely against the H1B policy.

At this rate, we must be shortly witnessing the complete eradication of the H1B work permit policy in the United States, which could prove to be extremely consequential to the Indian community.
