Hyderabad is one of the urban cities in South India with a tropical climate, which is generally regarded as the better climate condition for the wider population. But for a change, Hyderabad has taken a complete dip in temperature as extreme cold winters have hit the city.

According to the latest report, urban across Hyderabad city have witnessed extreme drop in temperatures as certain areas even recorded single digit readings.

The lowest temperature in the city was recorded at the Hyderabad Central University in Serilingampally, which witnessed just 8.8°C earlier in the day today. This is for the lowest temperature recorded in the urban pocket of the city today.

In such extreme cold conditions, it is common for the residence to catch cold and fever, so the natives are expected to be more precautious with their health conditions now.
