HYDRA Effect: Hyderabad's Famous Food Street Is Gone!

It is already known that the Revanth Reddy government in Telangana has been particularly against encroachments of public lands and also government properties. Now they have done something significant as one of the most iconic food streets in Hyderabad city is no longer present.

The discussion is about the iconic DLF Street that is present in the region of Hyderabad as the local municipal authorities have created an absolute scene here by demolishing all the illegal properties.

Cyberabad Municipal Corporation cleared obstructions from 22.28 km of footpaths, including 48 encroachments from the DLF area in Gachibowli that was popular for housing several small food stalls, significantly affecting the people working in the IT sector who frequented the area for meals.

This is going to be one of the biggest decisions taken by the municipal authorities as DLF Food Street is one of the iconic destinations in the city and it will no longer be in existence.

There are mixed reactions to this development on social media. As a few people say it is right to demolish all the legal constructions, while others say there are many other properties across the city that require attention and it is not right to go after such an iconic street that was feeding so many people.

Whatever might be the public opinion now the fundamental points to be noted here is that this state has been eradicated from Hyderabad map permanently, and food lovers will have to search for some other place.
