New Year Celebrations In Hyd: New Rules Inside!

In just a week from now, the entire world will be welcoming New Year 2026, and even Hyderabad is preparing for the same as usual. The New Year celebrations across the city are being planned in a grand manner by the organisers and the authorities have issued crucial regulations in this regard.

As per the special orders, bars, clubs, permitted events and tourism locations across Telangana will be allowed to serve liquor up to 1:00 am on December 31. The relaxation applies only to establishments that have obtained prior permission from the Excise Department.

However, Liquor shops are to be closed by midnight. A-4 liquor shops have been permitted to sell liquor only up to 12:00 midnight on December 31. No sale beyond the stipulated time will be allowed under any circumstances.

Apart from that, the police authority is including the Commissioner of Hyderabad city Police have confirmed that there will be multiple drunk driving tests across the city.

The city police have taken the drunk driving aspect very seriously, and any offender will have to face serious consequences without any exceptions in this regard. It is evident that Hyderabad city police is scheduled to go very hard against potential detractors of these regulations.

Apart from that, the Hyderabad police have also communicated that any kind of drugs and confiscated substances are strictly prohibited, and any consumers will have to face the strict legal consequences.
