Hyderabad CP Raises Objections On Baby Movie Scenes!
Hyderabad CP CV Anand said that there is no difference between the raid scene and the scenes shown in Baby movie.
Baby movie became a sleeper hit in the industry. Without any expectations, it saw big numbers at the box office and OTT views as well. However, the makers of the film faced a big blow with a Police Commissioner expressing dissatisfaction with a few objectionable scenes in the film.
Talking about the recent raid on drug bust at the fresh living apartments, Hyderabad CP CV Anand said that there is no difference between the raid scene and the scenes shown in Baby movie. The real-life scenes are shown in the film to justify them which is not good.
"Our appeal to the film producers and directors is not to show such scenes in films as it is against all rules and censor rules. Those who are addicted to drugs are getting inspired by the scenes," the CP said.
"A movie named Baby was released recently. A few objectionable scenes are shown in the film. The scenes are in a way to encourage the consumption of narcotics and drugs. There is no big difference between what was shown in the film and what we have seen in a fresh-living apartment. What is done in real life was shown in the film to justify it," the CP observed. As a big blow to the makers of the film, CV Anand said that notices would be served to the movie team and a special focus would be kept on films from now on.
In his press meet, CV Anand took a few names who were involved with the case. He took the name of Navdeep and the reports started doing rounds that he might be actor Navdeep. However, there is no official confirmation of this.
With media reports taking his name, actor Navdeep responded to the issue and said that he had nothing to do with the case and he was in the city. I am not absconding, he said.
