The United States authorities have started to strongly crack down on the immigration population. Now A disturbing video from the United States has ignited outrage online, as it appears Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers confronted and detained a man allegedly because of his accent.

The clip, shared widely on social media, shows the encounter unfolding in Columbia Heights, Minnesota, where ICE agents reportedly went door to door questioning residents. In the footage, a man stands near a garage on private property when agents approach and demand to see his identification.

He insists he isn’t legally obligated to show ID, especially since he isn’t suspected of a crime, is on his own property, and the officers have no visible warrant. When he asks why they are asking for documents, one agent bluntly replies, “Because of your accent.”

The man points out the absurdity by noting the agent also has an accent. The situation escalates quickly: the agent orders the man to put his hands behind his back, physically pushes him against the garage, and restrains him. Other agents then step in, with one blocking the camera.

Critics say this incident highlights growing concerns about racial profiling and overly aggressive immigration enforcement tactics, particularly when stops are made based on how someone speaks rather than concrete legal grounds.
