The team management has decided to remove Shubman Gill from the team composition for the upcoming World Cup, and this was not what was expected in the first place.
Shubman Gill was operating as the vice captain for the T20 team for India, but that did not constitute a place for him in T20 World Cup, which is not an expected course of action.
This part that was announced by the team management earlier does not compromise of Shubman Gill and Jitesh Sharma. While it has been confirmed that Ishan Kishan and Rinku Singh have been given a place in the same.
