Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi enjoys unmatched popularity and image among people. All the surveys say that same that his image is still intact even after two terms. The BJP is happy with this and is confident that his image makes wonders for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections as well.
One of the main reasons behind Narendra Modi's popularity is his oratory skills. He once again proved his oratory skills by taking a dig at the grand old Congress party. The Prime Minister compared Congress to an outdated phone and said that people dumped it in 2014.
Narendra Modi graced the 'India Mobile Congress' event and addressed the gathering. During his speech, he brutally targeted the Congress party and said that it is like an outdated phone which the people chose to get rid of in 2014.
Adding further, the Prime Minister said that the outdated phones are in such a position that restricting, charging, or changing the battery cannot help the phones work. People preferred us by dumping the outdated phones.
"A restart, or charging the battery or even changing the battery did not work. In 2014, people left such outdated phones and gave us an opportunity to serve the country," the Prime Minister said.
The Congress party is aggressively going forward to shock the BJP and INDIA alliance was also formed. Political observers say that the opposition parties can pose a big threat to the BJP in the next Lok Sabha polls if not spoiling its plans.
Amid this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made some strong comments and compared Congress to an outdated phone. There is also a reason behind him stressing more about 2014 as it is the year when BJP recorded a landslide victory and came to power.
Having targeted the party, Narendra Modi highlighted what his party and said that big companies are showing interest in coming to India for manufacturing the phones here and exports are also made.
