It is known that a larger section of the Indian population had settled down in Japan as they have secured better employment opportunities and living conditions there.
It is known that a larger section of the Indian population had settled down in Japan as they have secured better employment opportunities and living conditions there.
In this context, a video is viral social media and it involves an elderly Indian man who is seen by down in front of the camera as he was ordered to leave Japan on visa grounds.
Indian restaurateur Manish Kumar, who has lived in Japan for 30 years and run his popular Indian curry restaurant in Saitama Prefecture for 18 years, broke down in tears at a Tokyo rally.
Japan’s Immigration Services Agency denied his business manager visa renewal under stricter 2025 rules after capital requirement hiked 6x from ¥5M to ¥30M.
Reacting on this topic, Manish said “My children were born here, only speak Japanese, have only Japanese friend. To tell me to go back to India, how is that humane?”
Adding further, Manish Kumar said "I haven't committed a crime. I did my best. Is this humane?" he asks in a viral clip.
This is again an indication of the fact that Indians contribute globally through hard work, entrepreneurship and taxes, yet many still face humiliation, exclusion and uncertainty abroad.
The world benefits from Indian talent but too often refuses to treat Indians with dignity. This has become a blatant reality these days and the consequences are being felt all over already.
