Trump 2.0: Indian Students In Terror

The second tenure of Donald J Trump, as the President of the United States is coming as a rude shock to the Indian community that has been residing there. In particular, the student community is in absolute tatters now.

As per the latest reports, the government of United States is sending its authorities to check on students who have been unlawfully doing part-time jobs while studying on student visa.

In this context, there are reports that the authorities have carried out search operations at Boston, Massachusetts, and took certain Indian students into custody. This is for illegally working on part time jobs off campus which is against the regulation.

This was quickly followed by the such operations in Dallas, Texas as well, which has the highest population of Indian students, and also NRIs. This is going to be a really concerning development for everyone involved.

These such operations are only bound to get stricter and stricter by the day, and this does not paint a good picture for the Indian student community that has been staying in the United States.
