For many years now, the volume of the Indian student population travelling to abroad destinations like the United States and the United Kingdom has been consistently.
In particular, the number of Indian students travelling to the United States has shut up over the last four years, as visa restrictions became increasingly loose.
Along with the traditional choice of the United States, other crucial destinations like Australia and the United Kingdom became mainstream choices.
But finally, there is some positive news in this effect as the latest development are suggesting that the talent attempted that India had been suffering from in the recent past is slowly stopping.
The statistics are suggesting that the Indian students have simply stopped to travel to abroad destinations for higher studies and job opportunities.
The statistics are such that;
2025: 6.26 Lakh
2024: 7.7 Lakh
2023: 9.08 Lakh
There is nearly a 30% drop in the total number of students travelling abroad for better opportunities than India. This resulted in a serious depletion in talent pool in India, but it is good to see that the trajectory is starting to slowdown again.
