For a long time now, the international studies culture has been aggravating in the Indian community. This is getting bigger and better by the day but things are looking shady now as Trump has started to tighten the regulations on student life culture.

Many Indian students go to America to study and build a better future. But some make mistakes like drunk driving, fighting with roommates, loud parties, using drugs, or breaking traffic rules are bound to happen. In the U.S., these actions can lead to visa cancellation and even deportation in the current day market.

A few students did these things and lost their visas and this has become a topic of conversation. But instead of understanding the real reasons, some Indian media and social media are blaming the U.S. government, creating panic among parents which is not right.

Every country has rules. If we break them, we must face the consequences for the same. Just like Sundar Pichai and Satya Nadella followed the law and made India proud, today’s students must also act responsibly. Only then will their journey to the U.S. have real meaning.

Media should spread awareness, not fear, it must be primarily understood. They should explain what really happened, not show only shocking headlines just for the sake of views. Students must remember their goals - to study and succeed.

If they follow the rules and behave responsibly, they will earn respect and keep their visa. Let’s not blame others for our mistakes. Let’s act wisely and make our families and country proud. This must be the main narrative that must be carried by the media.
