There were many doubts on how the young Indian side would prefer in the absence of veterans Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. The Indian side led by Surya Kumar Yadav kept all the doubts aside and whitewashed the T20 series. India won all three matches in the most thrilling manner.

Making the series win a special one, the Indian player made big gains in the rankings. Young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal improved his position and moved to fourth place in the T20s. He is carrying high expectations to serve as an opener for a long time across the formats. He made a big gain.

Another opener Shubman Gill reached the 21st spot which is his career-highest rank. Gill was made the vice-captain and he improved his rankings. Gill has been consistent in the format and his consistency helped him in his rankings.

Ravi Bishnoi is a star in making for the Indian team. It is very tough to read him which makes him a tough bowler to face. In the third T20, he took three wickets and helped India win the series. He also saw a big improvement in his rankings. Ravi Bishnoi is back in the top ten again.

The three youngsters made a big gain in the rankings. Surya Kumar Yadav, the T20 skipper, stuck to his second rank. Hardik Pandya who is one of the T20 World Cup heroes is ranked 6th among the all-rounders.

Other players like Arshdeep Singh, Washington Sundar, and Mohammed Siraj also improved their rankings in the latest ICC rankings. Young guns who played a key role in India’s series win saw their rankings improving.
