In the ongoing Olympics in Paris we have already seen a few big upsets and big names carrying high expectations of medal glory had an early exit. Joining the row another shooter was eliminated. She went very close to the medal and unfortunately, she was eliminated from the Olympics.
Shooter Manu Bhaker reached the 25m air pistol event with the hopes of another medal. However, she lost the chance by a thin margin by standing in fourth position. With this, she was eliminated.
In the finals of the 25m air pistol event, Manu Bhaker narrowly missed another medal with a small difference. With 28 points she stood at the Fourth point while the shooter who stood in 3rd position had 31 points.
The shooter started her Olympic journey on a positive note by winning a medal. She already won two bronze medals in 10m women's air pistol and 10m air pistol mixed team events. It was she who won the first medal for the country. In the qualification round, she had the best performance securing a position in the finals.
On the Big Day, the shooter lost the opportunity for another Olympic medal by a small margin and stood in fourth position. Had she won a few more points in the finals she would have won another medal.
Earlier a few Indian athletes were eliminated in a single day from the Olympics. It was a big heartbreak moment for the fans as all of them carried high hopes of bringing the medal glory to the country. Now the Shooter is also eliminated after winning two medals
