Whiskey is one of the popular drinks and alcohol lovers want to taste it at least once given the rich taste it offers. In India, there are a few varieties of whiskey that are popular. Indian Whiskey had hit it out of the park now in terms of exports. The data shows that exports saw a big uptick.

The Indian Whiskey is seeing a big growth in demand and popularity. As a result, the exports increased by as much as 26 percent in the first half of this year. Even the Premier Liquor exports reached a massive $ 6.3 million which had doubled.

As per the media reports, in the first half of 2024, the Whiskey exports increased by 26 percent and reached a massive x.6 million. In particular, the blended Whiskey dominated the exports with a 50 percent share.

It is said that the blended Whiskey accounted for 50 percent of these exports. Industry circles say that the Indian Whiskey has been seeing a big demand in other countries. Slowly the demand is increasing which in turn led to a rise in exports.

The UAE, Netherlands, and Ghana are the biggest markets as far as exports are concerned. On the other hand, the US is also emerging as a big player. Data says that exports to the US increased by 63 percent. Single Malt Whiskey is also being consumed more in other countries.

Over the years the exports have been increasing. Due to covid the exports saw a dip in 2020 and saw a jump in the next year. After seeing a slight dip in 2022 it recorded a jump in 2023 and 2024. In the first six months, exports increased by 26 percent.
