India Today survey shocker for YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh
The India Today Mood of the Nation 2024 survey has come as a shocker for the ruling YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh.
The India Today Mood of the Nation 2024 survey has come as a shocker for the ruling YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh. The survey results showed that at least 81 per cent of the people of Andhra Pradesh are unhappy with the performance of chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
This is considered huge for any government. At the same time, the survey predicts that the YSRCP would get up to eight seats in the Lok Sabha. This means the TDP-Jana Sena combine would get at least 17 seats.
The survey is being seen as an indication of the rampant anti-incumbency sweeping the state. If the same mood extends to the assembly, then the YSRCP would be defeated, sources say.
This has come as a shocker for the YSRCP establishment, which was hoping to get back to power albeit with a reduced margin.
The YSRCP was quick to rubbish these survey findings. The party said that the C Voter has got it all wrong. It said that on several occasions, the C voter surveys were proved wrong and that the actual results were the exact opposite of what has been predicted. It claims that the YSRCP will win the maximum number of seats in both the assembly as well as the lok sabha.
The party sources say that the Times Now Matrize NC Survey, whose results have claimed a facile victory for the YSRCP, are exactly the opposite of the India Today survey.
The Times Now survey has predicted 17 seats to the YSRCP. The YSRCP sources claim that Chandrababu, who is currently in Delhi, could have influenced the survey organization.
