AP Elections: What The India TV-CNX Survey Has To Say?

Elections and surveys go hand in hand. Whenever there are elections we can see the surveys coming out. Both pre-poll surveys and post-poll surveys get a wide range of attention from the people. In the wake of the upcoming elections, we have seen a few surveys which came up with their predictions.

Andhra Pradesh will go for the elections. Earlier a few surveys were conducted by different firms. Now another survey was conducted and the outcome is that the alliance might have a big impact in the elections.

The India TV-CNX poll survey predicted that the alliance would have an edge over the YCP in the elections. TDP would increase its MP seats further while the YCP would lose the MP seats.

In the last elections, the YCP dominated the elections and won as many as 22 out of the 25 MP seats. TDP barely managed to win three seats. In the upcoming elections, TDP might win 12 seats while BJP would win three seats. YCP might be restricted to just 10 seats.

What the survey predicted is big news for TDP and BJP. Jumping from 3 seats to 12 seats is not a small thing for the TDP. On the other hand, the BJP might open its account in AP. It might win three MP seats which is not bad. BJP has been trying hard to enter AP and the upcoming elections might be the perfect platform. But it is Janasena which will be at the loss as it might not win either seat.

Talking about the YCP, the party that dominated the previous elections might lose around half the seats. From an encouraging 22 seats, it might be restricted to just 10 seats. Ahead of the elections, the survey became the talk of the town.
