Mohammed Siraj who enjoys a terrific record against Sri Lanks gave the first breakthrough in the match. Indian bowlers took wickets at regular intervals and restricted Sri Lanka. But Dunith Wellalage made sure that his team put up a fighting score.
In response, India put up a solid show in chasing the target. India is 57 without a loss by eight overs with Openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill firing big shots.
India has a terrific record against Sri Lanka since the 1990s and we have been dominating the side in almost every match. Even in the Asia Cup finals, India crushed Sri Lanka with 10 wickets.
