Most of the Indian Politicians don’t even realize what Percentage of people in the country are addicted to this app. They learn politics, lean toward ideologies, form opinions and consume narratives unknowingly, users fall for this content.

There is no conspiracy or bias as the algorithm always promotes engaging content. So Instagram has essentially become a platform that could potentially dictate the outcome of the Indian politics as well.
In fact, the cockroach party was able to gain significant ground at the foundational level, almost entirely due to the Instagram presence and the narrative that they built here. If this is the power of Instagram already, then one can only wonder what would be happening in the next couple of years as India is preparing for the 2029 election.
