When the Iran-US war started, and Ayatollah Khomenei was dead in just two days, many expected that the USA would take over the Persian country in just a couple of days. But when Iran shot back after Israel bombed its petroleum refineries by locking the Hormuz Strait, many didn’t expect that the war would take such a shocking plot twist. That is now leading to many Telugu films being affected as their shooting plans got disrupted.

Ever since the Iran-Israel-USA war started, there have been various doubts about the pending shoots of some Telugu movies. In fact, the makers of Jr NTR’s Dragon want to shoot exclusively for a long time in Jordan and Morocco, but those countries are not safe now, and a direct flight via Dubai is not available. At the same time, some Telugu films like Sithara Entertainments' upcoming love story were said to have a Dubai backdrop, but they have to wait now. At the same time, some makers want to shoot their movies in the deserts of Middle Eastern countries, but they are also struck.

In fact, some makers want to go to Europe to wrap their films, but the cost of direct flights like Delhi-Paris is currently too high, and that would affect making costs. Almost a dozen such films are now in the thinking mode, as they are planning alternatives. Either they have to wait until the war gets truly over, such that they could shoot their movies in the Middle East, or they should rewrite their scripts, looking at some alternate locations and ideas.
