Ever since the BJP came to power we have been hearing a lot about the alleged misusage of the central agencies. The opposition parties and the observers accuse BJP of the same. Adding fuel to this only the opposition party leaders are targeted by the agencies.

Be it ED,CBI or IT we only hear news about the raids at the houses and premises of the opposition party leaders. This is making the opposition parties have a question of whether the agencies go after them only.

Yet again raids were held at an MP’s house and premises and massive bundles of cash were found by the officials. The seized money is said to be around Rs 100 crores.

As per the media reports, the IT raids were held at the residence and premises of Rajya Sabha MP Dheeraj Sahu in Odisha. A team of officers conducted multiple raids and cash in big numbers were found.

The raids were held at Sambalpur, Bolangir, Titilagarh, Boudh, Sundargarh, Rourkela, Bhubaneswar and other locations and cash worth over Rs 200 crore was found and seized.

The scale of the raids was such that even the cash counting machines were called and the raids were underway. The numbers might lick up further by the time the raids would conclude.

It is said that the raids were held to look into the alleged irregularities in the liquor business and multiple locations were raided.

The issue took a new turn with a few BJP leaders demanding a detailed probe on the Congress leaders alleging that more money would be seized if others are also raided.

On the other hand the Congress leaders are asking why only the opposition parties and leaders face the raids while the ruling party leaders are left out.
