Starting from August, he has a busy schedule re-energising and preparing the party for the upcoming elections.
With just nine months away for the next assembly and Lok Sabha elections, AP chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is all set to shift gears. Starting from August, he has a busy schedule re-energising and preparing the party for the upcoming elections. A slew of programmes have been planned and YS Jagan himself is leading the charge.
On August 1, Jagan will attend a slew of programmes in Vizag city. He would inaugurate the works on the Vizag's biggest mall, planned by the Raheja group. The agreement for this was sealed during the investment summit in Vizag in March this year. In addition, he would also interact with the students of the Andhra University.
Jagan is said to have planned a DSC notification in August and would ensure that most of the industrial groups that had signed the MoUs with the government at the Vizag summit, will launch their works. Works on as many as 36 major projects would be launched during he coming five months, according to YSRCP sources.
Jagan is also planning to attend the AP NGO meet on August 21, where he is expected to shower sops on them. He is also likely to take some key decisions on the zonal issue. He is also likely to regularise the contract employees working in various government departments. In this, he is likely to follow the KCR formula of merging various quasi-government units into the government.
