Attack Affect: Change In CM Jagan's Security?
As the D-day for Elections in Andhra Pradesh is nearing the political heat is increasing
As the D-day for Elections in Andhra Pradesh is nearing the political heat is increasing. In less than one month we would see the poll-bound state facing the much-awaited elections. With this, we are seeing the political parties keeping themselves busy with campaign activities. Be it the ruling YSRCP or opposition parties, they are trying hard to impress the voters.
Adding intensity to the political picture, leaders are facing attacks. It is not that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was attacked with a stone. The campaign was halted briefly and Jagan is back in action. It was reported that stones were pelted at TDP and Janasena convoy too. But the party chiefs did not sustain any injuries.
What happened is not a good trend. The motive behind the attacks is not known yet. The Chief Minister facing such an attack is not a small thing and needs a special focus. When a CM is campaigning the officials concerning the safety will be watching everything with a detailed eye.
In the wake of this, YS Jagan is likely to have increased security. The state DGP is said to have directed the officials to increase the security of the CM. After reviewing the security, the DGP made the orders.
Additional officials would be made a part of his security who would thoroughly check the areas from which Jagan’s campaign would go through as an additional measure. In a bid to increase the measures, CCTVs might be set up in the areas.
Whenever a leader holds Bus Yatra he or she reaches the top of the vehicle so that they can see the people and the people present there would also get an opportunity to have a glimpse. The same might not be the case with Jagan from now on. He would stay for a brief period on the bus.
Usually, we don't see sitting CMs face such attacks. As the CM was injured the officials are said to have made changes and increased the measures so that such incidents won't repeat.
