Railway Koduru constituency has come into sharp focus following serious allegations made against Jana Sena Party MLA and government whip Arava Sridhar. The issue gained statewide attention after a woman government employee released a video alleging that she was exploited, threatened and harassed over a prolonged period. The allegations quickly triggered political reactions and public debate, with opposition parties demanding strict action and a transparent investigation.

Responding to the developments, Arava Sridhar strongly denied all charges and described the allegations as false and politically motivated. He stated that the viral content circulating on social media was fabricated and intended to damage his reputation. The MLA also expressed readiness to cooperate fully with any investigation to prove his innocence. Meanwhile, police authorities have taken cognizance of the complaint and initiated a probe to verify the facts.

Amid mounting pressure, the Jana Sena Party leadership stepped in and decided to handle the matter internally as well. The party working committee gave a green signal for an inquiry and constituted a three member committee to examine the allegations in detail.

The committee has asked MLA Arava Sridhar to submit his explanation within one week. Party sources said the move reflects Jana Sena’s commitment to discipline and accountability, stressing that further decisions will be taken only after the inquiry report and investigation findings are reviewed.
