TDP and Janasena allied in Andhra Pradesh. With this, the question of how many seats Janasena will get from TDP has started. It is said that Janasena is hoping for a big number. Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan has been saying that they want a respectable number of seats. However, there is no clarity on the number of seats.
If we have to take anything from the media reports, TDP might give around 30 seats to Janasena. The seats that Janasena might get are spread across the districts. However, the party might not get seats in a few regions.
Vizag:
If we talk about the Vizag district, Janasena might get only two seats. Janasena might get Gajuwaka and Elamanchili seats in the district.
East Godavari District:
It is said that Janasena might get around eight seats in the district namely Pithapuram, KakinadaCity, Mummidivaram, Amalapuram, Razole, Patha Gannavaram, Kothapeta and Rajahmundry Rural.
West Godavari District:
Talking about the West Godavari district, Janasena might get five seats- Tanuku, Bhimavaram, Narasapuram, Tadepalligudem, and Nidadavolu.
Guntur District:
In the Guntur District, the Janasena party might get just two seats. While one of the two seats in Tenali, the second one might be Prathipadu.
Prakasham District:
Even in th Prakasham district, the party might get two seats. Janasena party might get Darsi and Giddalur seats here.
Nellore District:
Talking about the Nellore region, the Janasena party might be empty-handed as it might not get at least one seat.
Chittoor District:
Even in the Chittoor district, the Janasena party might get two seats. The two seats would be Tirupati and Chittoor.
Kadapa District:
In the Kadapa district, the party would get two seats. While one of them is Pulivendula, the other one is Mydukur.
Kurnool District:
Janasena might be restricted to just one seat in the region and the only seat the party gets here will be the Kurnool constituency.
Anantapur District:
In the region, Janasena will get only one seat which is Anantapur itself. If we count all the seats we get 28. So the Janasena might get two more seats so that it becomes 30 round figure.
Besides this, Janasena might get three MP seats. The party might get Machilipatnam seat, Narsapuram, either Kakinada or Visakhapatnam.
It is said that TDP is very clear on the alliance with Janasena. Reports say that the confirmation on these seats might have come when Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan met Chandrababu Naidu. Now it is said that these are the seats Janasena might get. TDP might also not have any objections if these seats are given to Janasena. Even the TDP leaders won't have any issues here.
Political experts say that TDP is in plans to have better chances of winning the elections by giving just 30 seats out of 175 seats to Janasena. But there is no clarity on how Janasena leaders will react to these 30 seats. If Janasena leaders and supporters think about how many seats the party can win out of 30 and what happens to the slogan of Pawan as CM and the sharing of power, a few objections might arise.
On the other hand, many say that allotting 30 seats to Janasena is not a small issue. Janasena won just one seat in the last elections. If Janasena manages to win at least half the number of seats then it can play a key role in the Assembly say observers.
