Mad Craze For Jubilee Hills Polls: Record Nominations Filed!

The upcoming Jubilee Hills by election is creating a lot of interest amongst the voting community and also amongst Telangana political circles. The Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election in Hyderabad is turning out to be one of the most competitive contests in recent times.

The election is scheduled for November 11, 2025, and has drawn a record number of candidates. Over the entire nomination period, a total of 211 candidates filed 321 nominations, showing the intense political interest surrounding this constituency.

On the seventh and final day, which was October 21, as many as 117 candidates submitted their nominations. Among them were the key contenders from the major political parties, including Congress candidate Naveen Yadav, BRS candidate Maganti Sunitha, and BJP candidate Lankala Deepak Reddy.

The Jubilee Hills seat has always been one of the most high-profile and influential constituencies in Hyderabad, often reflecting the political mood of urban voters.

The large number of independent and lesser-known candidates filing nominations also highlights the growing political aspirations among citizens. With strong candidates from all three major parties and a large pool of independents, the by-election is expected to witness a heated campaign and close contest.
