Adding further, the Supreme Court said that these comments hindered the rights of the girls and found fault with the High Court’s orders of saying the accused was non guilty as he and the girl were involved with the girls’s will. The person was served the notices.

Going into details the Calcutta High Court heard a petition filed by a boy who was convicted by a sessions court of raping a minor girl. Both the boy and the girl were in relation. While quashing the orders the High Court said that young girls should control the urge of sex rather than giving into the pleasure.

What the Court said grabbed everyone’s attention and the comments went to the notice of the Supreme Court. Reacting to these comments the Apex Court said that the Judges should have not made such comments and their personal opinions were unwanted.

Finding fault with the High Court’s orders of quashing the order the Supreme Court made some observations saying that boys should respect girls and women and they should train their minds on respecting the dignity of women. Women’s self-worth, dignity, and privacy should be respected, the Apex Court said.
